Professor Abdulsalam Ya’u Gital is a notable figure in the Department of Computer Science at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His research focuses on cloud computing, optimization algorithms, and deep learning, and he has published numerous articles on these subjects. Prof. Gital has supervised several Ph.D. and M.Sc. students and is recognized for his contributions to resource optimization in cloud computing and other areas of computer science. He is the current Deputy Dean, Faculty of Science, and the Director of Directorate of Information & Communications Technology, ATBU.
