Brief

Computer Science

The programme is aimed at producing graduates.

  1. Suitable for the job market, postgraduate work, and research;
  2. Capable of applying their knowledge and skills in computer to solve complex societal and industrial problems of our age.

Aims & Objectives

The main objective of the progrmme is to give a broad, though not superficial training that will equip the prospective research student with the essential tools needed for discovering and solving computer related Mathematical and Statistical problems. The student will be exposed to as much literature as possible in his field of research and encouraged to interact with the academic members industrial and co-operate organizations working in related fields.

A successful student who is interested in a career in research and teaching would have been provided with basic background in methodologies of research, while others would be well suited to play an important coordinating role in a variety of industries and other areas of employment..
