FAKE SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT.
The attention of the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Ibrahim Hassan Garba, is drawn to a fake Facebook account opened in his name, obviously with the sole intent to scam innocent persons.
A screenshot of a transaction by a good samaritan revealed a direct attempt to lure the person into a supposedly certain contract.
In view of this, it has become necessary to alert the general public, especially our stakeholders, that the Vice Chancellor will never engage in any official transaction with anyone on the social media for any purpose whatsoever.
